Vanguard is committed to maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and security of all sensitive information provided by its members, applicants, corporate partners, Board of Directors, and Advisory Board. This policy outlines our strict measures to protect financial and business data shared with us.
2. Scope
This policy applies to:
All Vanguard members, including individual and corporate members.
All applicants submitting information for membership consideration.
The Board of Directors and Advisory Board.
Any third-party vendors or partners who may process confidential information on Vanguard’s behalf.
3. Confidential Information
Confidential information includes but is not limited to:
Financial data such as annual revenue, assets under management (AUM), and audited financial reports.
Business strategies, proprietary research, or strategic plans disclosed to Vanguard.
Personal identification details and professional credentials shared during the application process.
Any discussions, documents, or communications shared during Vanguard events, forums, or business activities.
4. Confidentiality Commitment
Vanguard pledges to:
Protect all confidential information submitted by members, applicants, and partners.
Use financial and business data solely for membership verification and internal governance purposes.
Restrict access to confidential data to authorized personnel only.
Not disclose or share confidential information with external parties unless required by law or with prior written consent.
5. Financial Information Protection
We recognize that financial data is highly sensitive. As such, we:
Require only the minimum necessary financial documentation for membership eligibility verification.
Offer an alternative verification process where applicants may provide a certification from a reputable auditing firm confirming that they meet or exceed the required revenue threshold.
Implement strict data storage and access controls to prevent unauthorized access or misuse.
6. Non-Disclosure Obligation for the Board of Directors & Advisory Board
Board Directors and Advisory Board members are bound by a strict non-disclosure obligation regarding any confidential information they access in their roles. This includes, but is not limited to, membership data, internal deliberations, and strategic discussions.
7. Data Retention & Security
Confidential information will be retained only as long as necessary for membership processing and compliance.
Secure data storage and encryption methods will be utilized to protect all digital records.
Physical documents, if any, will be stored securely and disposed of responsibly after use.
8. Breach of Confidentiality
Any unauthorized access, use, or disclosure of confidential information will be treated as a serious violation and may result in termination of membership, legal action, or other appropriate measures.
9. Agreement & Acknowledgment
By submitting confidential information to Vanguard, members, applicants, and partners acknowledge and agree to this policy.
