Nguyen Ngoc Thai Binh Joins Vanguard Board, Bringing REE Expertise

Mr. Binh joins us from REE Corporation, a pioneering Vietnamese conglomerate founded in 1977, where he has served as Chief Financial Officer since 2009 and as a Director since 2007. With a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Hawaii, he brings a robust foundation in financial strategy and management. His career spans significant roles, including a tenure in corporate banking at HSBC Vietnam from 2005 to 2009, where he honed his skills in business development and corporate finance. At REE, Mr. Binh has been instrumental in steering the company toward sustainable growth, notably through its leadership in Vietnam’s renewable energy sector with investments in solar and wind projects.
His appointment to Vietnam Vanguard’s board promises to enrich our strategic direction. Mr. Binh’s expertise in navigating complex financial landscapes and driving sustainable innovation aligns perfectly with our commitment to modern leadership and economic progress.
